How long is the contract?
One year, renewable. The notice terms are written in the agreement.
Who approves repairs?
You do, for anything over $200. Small urgent fixes under that are handled so your tenant isn't left waiting.
How do I get paid?
Each month, your rent minus our fee and any approved expenses is sent to you, together with a statement showing every amount.
Do you manage in Gatineau?
We focus on Ottawa. If your property is in Gatineau, contact us and we'll tell you honestly whether we can take it on.
About us
A small team that treats your property like our own.
Rent Ease Group started the practical way. Before REG existed, Romeo spent more than a year managing rental units hands-on: finding tenants, answering late-night calls and getting repairs done properly. Owners kept asking who could do the same for them, so we built a company around it.
We're deliberately small. When you call REG, you reach one of the partners who does the work. We'd rather manage fewer properties well than many properties badly.

Runs tenants and day-to-day operations. If your tenant has a question or a problem, Romeo is the one handling it.

Runs owner communication, listings and REG's systems, including the monthly statements you'll receive.
